crimsonsparrow: (did I miss that flash sale at JC Penny?)
[Suzaku doesn't want to interrupt Andersen's creative process at work...but, he figures, given the sort of day they've all had...he might be doing more pondering than writing. He didn't stick around too long to discuss the evidence that was found at the various crime scenes; that's what tomorrow is for. Still, he wants to check on his good pal, and knocks on his door with a gentle tap of his knuckles.]

Are you in, Sir Writer?
crimsonsparrow: (yes this i like)
[HELLO FRIEND, someone is knocking at your door! When the door is opened, Andersen will be able to find Suzaku with a typewriter cradled under his arm. It's pretty self-explanatory what he's there for.]

I take it this may lift your spirits?
crimsonsparrow: (I need you to be suffering.)
[After the trial's all been wrapped up and there's nothing else left to do or discuss, Suzaku is glad to take a heavy seat on one of the beds in 103. He immediately dives for the book that he's been reading, but not before letting out a heavy breath.]

My, what a peculiar day it's turned out to be, wouldn't you say?

[He's not so sure exactly how up for conversation his roommate, but, well, he should be learning more about the people around him, so might as well try.]
crimsonsparrow: (yeah I know I'm bad)
[Look out, City Hall: Suzaku's here with an invisible axe and he's ready to get to work. Out of all the locked doors, the Mayor's Office seems the most interesting...so that's precisely where he's heading.]
crimsonsparrow: (0/10 would not recommend that shit)
[It's hard for the mood to be particularly cheerful following a man's execution, especially considering the likelihood of another murderer running around unaccounted for. But, well, Suzaku...doesn't care about any of that. He just wants something to pass the time and hold his interest without getting stuck around anyone too gloomy over the whole affair.

He's not quite sure how many times he can hear or see someone worrying over the fragile sensibilities of a human child before he really forgets himself and says something particularly incriminating. Although the water is still murky, perhaps precisely because it's still murky, he settles on a stroll around the pool...and can't help but notice Kaiba sitting around, as well. Suzaku's pretty sure he's caught a glimpse of those cards of his before, in passing, but he hadn't thought to ask about them until now.

It seems a good a time as any, so he makes his way over.]

Are those a part of some sport?
crimsonsparrow: (and then they'll be brutally murdered :))
[It seems to have become pretty commonplace to find Andersen at the bar, so it's no surprise to find that they're both in the lounge once again. He looks over to the other (tinier) man and gestures toward one of the tables.]

Care to join me for a drink?
